_A SINGULAR UNIVERSE_
Discover the singular universe of Lisa Thevenon and where her creative inspirations come from. Lisa THEVENON works on unique textile sculptures, custom-made, by hand, in France, in her workshop in Roncq, near Lille. From a sketch or a simple idea, Lisa draws from her reserve of ropes and threads to design her textile creations. From the use of rope in decoration, unique and original sculptures are born, with simple shapes to draw the eye on sinuous lines and bring emotion and style to her interior.
_ CONTEMPORARY & SPIRITUAL INSPIRATIONS_
Lisa's work is inspired by the Japanese stylistic trend of wabisabi, which designates an expressive means of an aesthetic concept, derived from Buddhist and Taoist principles:
WABI: the fullness and modesty experienced in the face of natural phenomena.
The SABI : the feeling in front of the work of time or of men.
Most often, Lisa practices spontaneous work and soaks up the moment to let the unexpected happen: this allows her mind to go beyond making, absorbing ideas and roaming freely. Her creativity combined with her love of natural materials results in unique and singular interior design accessories, worthy of the greatest textile artists.

Lisa creates custom-made decorative objects.
Each piece is unique (a certificate of authenticity accompanies each sculpture)
Its handcrafted creations, allow to dress a wall and to bring a decorative, graphic and original note. Inspired by contemporary textile art, these decorative objects with the false airs of suspension in macramé, adapt to all styles of interiors, design, contemporary, sophisticated, rustic, natural ...
The rope suspensions are 100% handmade and will give a natural look to a wall decoration. The sculptures in small sizes are also available on a base (ideal format for the decoration of a restaurant or a hotel)
The sculptures are placed on a wall but can also be placed on a base, and be put on furniture (a format appreciated by gallery owners or for hotel or restaurant decoration)
Lisa creates custom-made pieces, in order to meet the requirements of your project: various sizes, materials, colors or supports are possible on request.
